Minister of Transport inspects the level of job discipline in the ministry following the Eid al-Adha holiday
Minister of Transport in the caretaker government, Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, inspected the level of job discipline in the ministry and its affiliated sectors on the first day of official work following the Eid Al-Adha holiday.
Minister Al-Durra, accompanied by the Undersecretary for the Financial and Administrative Affairs Sector, Adel Al-Madani, and the Director of Oversight and Performance Evaluation at the Ministry of Civil Service, Muhammad Saeed, reviewed the progress of work in the land, air and sea transport sectors, the Regional Maritime Center for Information Exchange, and public administrations.
Minister Al-Durra praised the level of discipline and commitment to official working hours, which reflects the keenness to develop work in the various transport sectors and improve the services provided.
He stressed the need to make more efforts to achieve more achievements in the various fields of transportation, and to thwart the American aggression’s plans to target this service sector.
For his part, the Director of Oversight at the Ministry of Civil Service noted the level of discipline on the first day of work at the Ministry’s office.
In addition, the caretaker Minister of Transport and his deputy, Mohammed Al-Hashemi, met today with the heads of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Muayyad, the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, Zaid Al-Washli, the Acting Board of Directors of Yemen Airways, Khalil Jahaf, the Undersecretary of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, Raed Jabal, and the Director of Sana’a Airport.

The meeting stressed the necessity of translating the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in developing and modernizing the various transport sectors.
He touched on the economic escalation carried out by the American-British aggression, in an attempt to dissuade Yemen from its firm position in supporting and assisting the brothers in Gaza.
