Minister of Transport & Public Works inspects number of projects.

Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim and Secretary of the Capital Dr. Hamoud Abbad inspected the level of work and achievement in the Al-Nasr Bridge project, which is being implemented with local and central funding under the directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council.
Qahim and Abbad, along with the Undersecretary of the Secretariat for the Works and Projects Sector, Engineer Abdul Karim Al-Houthi, learned about the nature of the work completed in the project, which included paving the eastern and western sides of the bridge with a length of 424 meters and a width of 15 meters, as well as the final works in the service aspects and improvements.
They listened to an explanation from the engineers about the level of achievement in the project and the remaining works represented in building the liquid wall and paving the area under the bridge and adjacent to it, and completing the yo-turns for the eastern and western sides and painting.
Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim also reviewed the progress of work on the project to establish a rainwater drainage channel on Amran Street with the wall of the second phase in Bani Al-Harith Directorate with a length of 178 meters at a cost of 168 million riyals funded by the local authority.
Minister Qahim listened to the Secretary of the Capital and the Deputy Secretary of the Secretariat to explain the components of the project, which includes the implementation of a concrete channel to treat the drainage of floods and rainwater in the Jadr area, as well as preparing the design for the implementation of the third and fourth phases during the coming period.
During the visit, the Minister stressed the Ministry’s keenness to quickly implement service and development projects that embody the vision of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and to overcome challenges and translate the directives of the leadership.
He praised the major works in the Secretariat, such as the Victory Bridge and water drainage channels, as well as the efforts of the Secretariat’s leadership in this regard.
