Minister Qahim Congratulates All Workers in the Transport, Public Works, and Roads Sectors on Labor Day

Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Ayash Qahim, extended his congratulations to all workers and employees in the transport, public works, and roads sectors, as well as all agencies and institutions affiliated with the ministry, on the occasion of International Workers’ Day.
In his congratulatory message, Minister Qahim emphasized his warmest greetings to the workers who form the backbone of production and the cornerstone of the country’s development and progress.
He considered International Workers’ Day an important annual occasion to acknowledge and honor this vital segment of society and the pivotal role they play in the lives of nations. He also commended the resilience and steadfastness demonstrated by Yemeni workers in their workplaces despite the economic hardships and repercussions resulting from the aggression and blockade imposed on Yemen for the past eleven years. The Minister of Transport and Public Works noted that the workers, both men and women, overcame difficult circumstances and stood, like other Yemenis, against the forces of aggression and arrogance. Their efforts have been instrumental in achieving numerous accomplishments across all developmental and economic sectors.
In closing, Minister Qahim expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all employees in the facilities and sectors affiliated with the Ministry of Transport and Public Works. Thanks to their efforts, we are witnessing today the implementation of many infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and public works, and the continued progress of work in all service facilities.
