Ministerial committee tasks in charge of evaluating performance of Red Sea Ports Corporation discussed

A meeting in Hodeida Governorate , chaired by the President of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Zaid Al-Washli, discussed the mechanism for implementing the tasks of the ministerial committee in charge of evaluating the performance of the Corporation within the Ministry of Transport’s plan for the year 2024.
In the meeting, the President of the Corporation directed Al-Washli, in cooperation with the Ministerial Committee and overcoming its tasks in evaluating the performance of the Corporation and the projects and works that have been implemented within the development vision to promote port services.
He noted the achievements witnessed by the Corporation that led to the continuity of the activity of the Red Sea ports to receive all ships loaded with goods and oil derivatives.
Zaid Al-Washli also touched on the systematic targeting and destruction of infrastructure in the corporation’s ports during more than nine years, and the efforts made to address the damage.
For his part, the Chairman of the Committee, Director General of Port Policies and Economics, Abdul Salam Al-Arifi, reviewed the tasks of the Committee and its work in accordance with the decisions of the evaluation process, pointing out that the Committee will evaluate the level of performance, maritime safety procedures, approved projects, and what has been implemented in accordance with the national vision, and review land leases contracts on the campus of the Red Sea Ports Corporation according to the agreed contract models.
He pointed out that the evaluation process includes the General Authority for Maritime Affairs in Hodeida.
