Ministry of Transport and Public Works and its affiliated bodies and institutions celebrate on occasion of Rajab Friday
Ministry of Transport and Public Works and its affiliated bodies and institutions organized today a speech event on the occasion of the Eid of Rajab Friday, the anniversary of the Yemenis’ conversion to Islam, under the slogan “Establishing the Faith Identity”.
In the event, Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali Al-Yafei pointed out the importance of establishing the faith identity and its history, which has been obliterated, distorted and falsified for centuries by the same enemies, and the importance of raising awareness and correcting the path.
In the event, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works Yahya Al-Sayani, Chairman of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Hadrami, and Undersecretary of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority Aref Al-Ashram, he pointed out the importance of celebrating Rajab Friday as it represents a turning point in the history of Yemen and the Yemenis, as they were the first to convert to Islam voluntarily.
He stressed the important role of the sons of Yemen at the beginning of the Islamic call, and their leadership of nations in following the truth and adhering to the right approach.. Pointing out that the honorable position of the Yemenis yesterday is the same honorable position today regarding the Israeli aggression on the brothers in the Gaza Strip, and confronting the forces of arrogance.

Dr. Al-Yafei pointed out that this position of faith, which was explicitly announced by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, by directly entering the war with the Zionists in support of the oppressed Palestinian people, comes from the standpoint of the Quranic approach and the faith identity of the Yemeni people.
He considered this occasion a starting point for awareness and connection to the faith identity because it is a great occasion that renews and consolidates this identity among generations and strengthens the connection to Islam and the faith approach.
He stressed that the crime that targeted the vicinity of Al-Sab’een Square, which is crowded with millions of people, will not deter the Yemeni people from their religious and humanitarian stance in supporting Gaza.
