Ministry of Transport and Public Works Discusses Arrangements for Commemorating Martyrs’ Day

 

A meeting was held today at the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, chaired by Deputy Minister Yahya Al-Sayani, to discuss the program of events commemorating Martyrs’ Day at the ministry level and across its affiliated bodies and institutions.

The meeting, attended by several undersecretaries, ministry officials, and heads of affiliated bodies and institutions, reviewed the plan of events and activities to commemorate this anniversary in a manner befitting the greatness of the martyrs and their sacrifices for God and in defense of the homeland.

During the meeting, the Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts among the various sectors to ensure the organized implementation of the events, reflecting the spirit of loyalty and gratitude for the sacrifices of the martyrs who gave their lives in defense of the homeland and its sovereignty.

Commemorating Martyrs’ Day was considered a renewal of the pledge of loyalty to those heroes who, through their determination, forged the glory of the nation and preserved its dignity, while honoring their families is a national and humanitarian duty that expresses loyalty to their sacrifices.

The Deputy Minister of Transport, Public Works and Housing pointed out that the anniversary of the martyr comes in conjunction with the battle of the promised victory and the holy jihad, and with the continuous sacrifices made by the sons of the nation, the latest of which was the martyrdom of the great jihadist leader, Lieutenant General Muhammad Al-Ghamari, Chief of the General Staff, who embodied the highest meanings of redemption, sincerity and sacrifice for the sake of God and the homeland.
