Ministry of Transport and Public Works Leaders Visit the Shrine of the “Martyr of the Quran” in Maran, Saada
Leaders from the Ministry of Transport and Public Works and its affiliated agencies visited today the shrine of Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the “Martyr of the Quran,” in the Maran district of Saada Governorate.
During the visit, Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works Yahya al-Sayani, along with ministry undersecretaries, directors general, and a number of ministry and affiliated agency employees, laid a wreath on the shrine of the martyred leader and recited the Fatiha (the opening chapter of the Quran) for his soul and the souls of all the martyrs of the nation, affirming their pride in the sacrifices made for the dignity of the nation.
They visited the Salman Citadel and listened to a detailed explanation from one of the companions of the martyr of the Quran about the historical milestones and epics written by the martyr at the beginning of the Quranic project, the challenges and difficulties the movement faced during the six wars, and aspects of his exceptional leadership and steadfastness in the face of adversity.
During the visit, the Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works, Al-Sayani, affirmed that the visit represented a renewal of the pledge and loyalty to follow the path laid out by the martyred leader in building a strong and independent nation.
He pointed to the necessity of drawing inspiration from the meanings of sacrifice, selflessness, and jihad, and of consolidating the values of the Quranic project as a way of life to confront the forces of global arrogance.
Al-Sayani praised the pivotal role of the martyred leader in establishing a culture of awareness and rejection of subservience, and in supporting the causes of the nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause and the Islamic holy sites.
The visitors, in turn, reaffirmed their commitment to the faith-based positions and their loyalty to the sacrifices of the martyrs, emphasizing that the Quranic project is the path that guarantees the nation’s revival and the restoration of its standing. They also visited the historic Imam Al-Hadi Mosque in Saada, and learned about its landmarks and its spiritual and historical significance.
