Ministry of Transport and Public Works Organizes Cultural Seminar for 60 Female Employees

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Ayash Qahim, the General Directorate for Women organized a cultural seminar for 60 female employees entitled “Strengthening Faith-Based Identity and Commemorating the Birth of Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her).” The seminar addressed faith-based identity, International Muslim Women’s Day, the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), and the Friday of Rajab.
At the symposium, the Director General of Women’s Affairs, Ms. Intisar Sanhan, emphasized the importance of commemorating the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) and celebrating the first Friday of Rajab, a significant occasion for Yemenis as it marked their embrace of Islam, which granted Yemeni women their rightful place and protected their rights.
She also highlighted the challenges facing Yemeni women as a result of the unjust war and the blockade imposed on Yemen by the aggression.
The lecture presented by Hajar al-Sayani addressed the significance of God’s selection of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), affirming that she is a role model for every woman and family in society. She emphasized the prominent role Islam has granted women throughout all stages of life, a role that has had a profound and comprehensive impact on strengthening the values and principles of the true Islamic faith.
The symposium included television footage and excerpts from speeches by the martyred leader Hussein Badr al-Din, reflecting on the occasion.
