Ministry of Transport & Public Works organizes an event on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday
Ministry of Transport and Public Works organized an event on the occasion of the birth of the Prophet, may the best prayers and peace be upon him. In the event, Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim considered the Yemenis’ celebration of the birth of the best of creation a station to draw lessons and morals from his biography, and to work with sincerity and dedication.
He stressed that this great religious occasion coincides with the great victories achieved by the Yemeni people every year. He said, “The wise leadership of the Yemeni people, represented by Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, has restored to the Yemenis the glories of their ancestors from the Aws and Khazraj.” He pointed out that celebrating the birth of the Prophet is an expression of the Yemenis’ sincere love for the Messenger, and an opportunity to renew the covenant with the Noble Prophet, and to strengthen national cohesion. He pointed out that the Yemenis’ celebration of the birth of the Prophet distinguishes them from other countries.
Qahim explained that the Ministry of Transport and Public Works will work at a high pace and with a team spirit to serve the Yemeni people in various fields of land, sea and air transportation, and implement service projects that meet the people’s essential needs and provide the best services. He called for participation and a large gathering in the central event that will be held on the twelfth of Rabi’ al-Awwal in the capital, Sana’a.. stressing the importance of commemorating this occasion with a spirit of unity and cohesion under the banner of the leader of the revolution, Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
In the event attended by Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works Yahya Al-Sayani, Sheikh Fouad Naji stressed the greatness of this great occasion that the Yemeni people celebrate every year in a way that is distinct from other peoples. He explained that the distinction of the Yemenis in celebrating the birth of the Prophet indicates the love, greatness and status of the Messenger in their hearts.. pointing out that the celebration of this occasion comes under exceptional circumstances as the Western world is witnessing a moral decline.
Sheikh Naji explained that the Prophet’s birthday comes this year while the Yemeni people are taking a heroic stance in support of the Palestinian people who are being subjected to a war of extermination by the Zionist enemy in light of shameful Arab and Islamic silence.
He pointed out that this occasion requires strengthening solidarity with the Palestinian people and their just cause, which has been abandoned by Arab and Islamic countries. He called for a large gathering at the central event that will be held in the capital, Sana’a, on this occasion.
The event, which was attended by the heads of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Moayyad, the Road Maintenance Fund, Eng. Nabil Al-Haifi, the General Roads Corporation, Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Hadrami, the Undersecretary of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, Aref Al-Ashram, and the Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yemenia Airlines, Khalil Jahaf, included performances and songs expressing the love of the Yemenis for the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace.
