More than five thousand pilgrims leave Sana’a International Airport

Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yemen Airways Khalil Jahaf confirmed that the number of pilgrims who were evacuated through Sana’a International Airport to the Holy Land within six days is 5 thousand and 166 pilgrims via Yemen Airways planes.

Jahaf told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that 740 pilgrims left Sanaa International Airport last Tuesday on the flights of the first cohort, 637 pilgrims in the second cohort and 1,100 pilgrims in the third cohort.

He pointed out that 822 pilgrims left within the fourth cohort last Friday, and Yemeni planes carried one thousand and 93 pilgrims in the fifth cohort, while today 774 pilgrims left the airport within the flights of the sixth cohort.

Jahaf pointed out that in the coming days, 3,34 pilgrims will be sent through 15 flights out of 8,200 pilgrims.

Jahaf stressed that the pilgrims are receiving attention from all sides, and all services and facilities were provided to them, simplifying travel procedures and completing transactions in record time, according to what is in force at international airports.
