Muftah, Al-Madani, and Taiman inspect the progress of the Bani Hashish-Hareeb Al-Qaramish Road Project

 

First Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed Muftah, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development, Mohammed Al-Madani,  reviewed the progress of the asphalt project for the road linking Bani Hashish District in Sana’a Governorate and Harib Al-Qaramish District in Ma’rib Governorate.

Along with Ma’rib Governor Ali Taiman, Deputy Minister of Administration and Local Development Ammar Al-Hareb, First Deputy Governor of Ma’rib Mohammed Alwan, and Executive Director of the Central Interventions Unit, Engineer Shihab Al-Shami, they listened to an explanation of the progress of the 13-kilometer project.

The project is funded by the local authorities in Sana’a and Ma’rib Governorates and the Road Maintenance Fund, and is being implemented by the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges. Miftah and Al-Madani emphasized the importance of this project, which will contribute to alleviating congestion on alternative roads and facilitating access to services to the beneficiary areas, as it represents the closest road linking Sana’a to Marib.

They emphasized the need for the project’s rapid completion within the specified timeframe, praising the efforts made in implementing the various aspects of the project.
They were accompanied during the visit by the Secretary-General of the Local Council in Sana’a Governorate, Abdul Qader Al-Jilani, the Director of the Public Works Office in Sana’a Governorate, Engineer Mohammed Ashiya, and the Director of Bani Hashish District, Rajih Al-Hanmi.
