Prime Minister briefed during his meeting with Minister Qahim on the activities of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works

Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, during his meeting today with Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim, was briefed on the progress of the activity of the ministry and its affiliated bodies and the institutional and technical programs being implemented.

The Prime Minister pointed to the major tasks assigned to this sector responsible for vital service areas directly related to the citizen and the components of his daily life.. Noting the efforts made by the ministry to automate its activities and services and facilitate and simplify the procedures for obtaining them.

Minister Qahim had reviewed the progress of the automation program at the level of the ministry and its affiliated units, which comes within the framework of facilitating and simplifying procedures for citizens and beneficiaries of the ministry’s services at the central and local levels.

He pointed out that the ministry is working in coordination with local authorities to enhance the role of public works offices in the governorates and directorates to carry out their original responsibilities in preventing violations, whether in neighborhoods or public streets.

The Minister of Public Works touched on the preparations of the ministry and its affiliated units to commemorate the annual anniversary of the martyr according to the government plan and the timetable for approved events and activities, and the keenness to contribute to the human dimension of this important occasion in the reality of the Yemeni people and their record of struggle and resistance to the invading aggressors.
