Prime Minister briefed on transport sector situation during meeting with Minister

Prime Minister Ahmed Al-Rahwi, during his meeting today with Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim, was briefed on the situation of the ministry and its land, sea, and air sectors, and the requirements necessary for continued operation in the three sectors.
The Prime Minister listened to a brief presentation from Minister Qahim on the level of achievement by the ministry and its affiliated entities in their plan for the past year 1446 AH, and the key components of the plan for the current year 1447 AH.
He emphasized the commitment of all leaders, employees, and workers in this vast sector to fulfilling their duties and carrying out their tasks, out of a sense of national responsibility incumbent upon everyone during this difficult time facing the nation.
The Prime Minister praised the significant efforts made by Minister Qahim and his vital fieldwork in monitoring and evaluating the work of the Ministry’s affiliated agencies. He emphasized that the government highly appreciates all executive efforts and actions, whether at the Ministry of Transport or other ministries, government agencies, or local authorities.
He pointed to the significant nature of the tasks entrusted to the Ministry and the direct targeting of its facilities by the American-Israeli-British enemy, which was met with swift and urgent measures to restore operations in record time.
The Prime Minister affirmed the government’s support for the transport sector and its provision of its urgent and necessary requirements to enable it to continue its vital activities.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Transport Sector, Alawi Yahya, and the Undersecretary of the Maritime Sector, Captain Mohammed Ishaq.
