Progress Checked on the Harib al-Qaramish-Bani Hashish Sana’a Road Project

 

First Deputy Governor of Ma’rib, Mohammed Alwan, and Chairman of the Road Maintenance Fund, Engineer Nabil Al-Haifi, reviewed the progress of work on the project to open and asphalte the Shuja’a Harib al-Qaramish-Bani Hashish Sana’a Pass Road.

Alwan and Al-Haifi, along with the Director of Supervision at the Road Maintenance Fund, Bashir Al-Sanea, listened to an explanation from the project manager, Engineer Yassin Al-Bahri, about the progress of work and the level of completion, including the opening, surveying, and asphalting of the 13-kilometer-long road, at a cost of 1.2 billion riyals.

During the visit, Deputy Governor Alwan commended the support of the Government of Change and Construction, the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, and its affiliated institutions in implementing the project, noting its importance in alleviating the suffering of the district’s residents, facilitating their transportation, and providing them with access to services.

For his part, Engineer Al-Haifi stressed the need to expedite the project’s completion within the specified timeframe and in accordance with engineering specifications, noting the road’s importance in connecting the Harib Al-Qaramish district and surrounding areas to the capital, Sana’a.
