Public Works and Transportation Sector in Dhamar Commemorates the Friday of Rajab

 

The Public Works sector and the Dhamar branch of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs organized a speech event today to commemorate the Friday of Rajab, under the slogan “Faith is Yemeni.”

During the event, Deputy Governor Mohammed Abdul-Razzaq highlighted the importance of the Friday of Rajab in the history of the Yemeni people, their adherence to their faith-based identity, and their pride in the day they embraced Islam. He considered commemorating this day part of their cultural heritage and an embodiment of their connection to the Prophetic message.

He emphasized the importance of raising awareness about the conspiracies of the enemies of the nation and their soft wars, and confronting them with awareness and insight. He urged everyone to make this commemoration an opportunity to strengthen their connection to the Holy Quran, increase their acts of charity and kindness, and maintain kinship ties, embodying the values ​​of the true Islamic faith.

For his part, the head of the Public Works Sector, Engineer Mu’adh al-Shawkani, indicated that commemorating the Friday of Rajab embodies the Yemeni people’s faith and their connection to the religion of God and the example of the Prophet Muhammad.

He addressed the systematic targeting of the nation’s religion, values, and sacred sites, including the repeated insults to the Holy Quran, emphasizing the necessity of strengthening the connection to the Book of God, the stances of the ancestors who supported Islam, and following in the footsteps of the Prophet in upholding truth and confronting the enemies of the nation.

In turn, Ibrahim al-Banous, Director of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority branch, reviewed the virtues of the Friday of Rajab, on which the Yemenis embraced Islam, their role in supporting the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and Imam Ali (may God be pleased with him) after him, and their honorable stances in spreading the Islamic message and confronting disbelief and tyranny to this day.

He affirmed that adhering to the faith-based identity is the only way to reform the nation’s reality, preserve its existence, protect it from the plots of its enemies, and achieve its renaissance and progress. The event, which was attended by the directors of the Land Authority branch, Engineer Abdulghani Al-Dailami, the Youth and Sports Office, Taysir Rawiya, and the deputies of Public Works, Muhammad Rida, and Transportation, Muhammad Hamed, included an expressive poem.
