The Public Works Office in Ibb Governorate organized a rally today to celebrate the Friday of Rajab.

During the event, the Director of the Public Works Office, Engineer Ibrahim Al-Shami, emphasized the importance of commemorating the Friday of Rajab, considering it a pivotal moment for faith and mobilization, strengthening resilience and steadfastness in the face of enemies, and reinforcing the faith-based identity embodied in the honorable stances of the Yemeni people on all issues concerning the nation.

He stressed that the current stage the nation is going through requires strengthening the connection to the Book of God and His Noble Messenger, and adhering to the faith-based identity. He expressed pride in the position of the Yemeni people and their wise leadership in supporting the oppressed Palestinian people and their valiant resistance in the Gaza Strip.

Engineer Al-Shami addressed the role of Yemenis in supporting the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his pure family, and in spreading the message of Islam throughout the world. He pointed out that the honorable stance of Yemenis on the Palestinian issue reminds the entire world of the love the people of Yemen have for the Prophet and their connection to him and his family, and their support for the message of Islam.

For his part, the Deputy Director of Guidance in the governorate, Muhammad Al-Jarmouzi, explained that commemorating the first Friday of Rajab is an important occasion that deepens faith and strengthens the religious identity that God has bestowed upon Yemenis by guiding them to the true religion of Islam. He also touched upon the role of Yemenis in supporting Islam and spreading it across the globe.

He pointed to the danger of soft warfare and distorted cultures that the enemies of Islam seek to use in an attempt to distance Yemenis from their faith and religious identity. He emphasized the necessity of preserving this identity, which is the guarantee for achieving victory over the forces of global arrogance that have allied against the Yemeni people. The event, which was attended by the head of the cultural sector in the governorate, Abdul Hakim Muqbil, and deputies, staff and employees of the Public Works Office, included a poem expressing the occasion.
