Qahim and Al -Muhtari are discussing aspects of coordination to advance the real estate sector

A meeting that included the ministers of transport and public works, Muhammad Qahim, and the economy, industry and investment, discussed the engineer Moeen Al -Muharsi today, aspects of coordination and cooperation to advance the real estate sector.
The meeting, which was attended by the Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works, Yahya Al -Siyani, and the officials of the works in the Municipality of the Capital and the Sana’a Governorate, and the sectors of works and housing at the Ministry of Transport and Works, and representatives of the General Authority for Lands, and the private sector, to the issue of urban planning, and the importance it constitutes in finding attractive areas and cities for investment .
At the meeting, the Minister of Transport and Works affirmed the keenness to take the necessary measures to improve performance in the field of planning so that it is not limited to neighboring units only, but also includes all white areas in Sanaa Governorate and the outskirts of the capital’s secretariat, as well as the rest of the governorates.
He pointed out that the leadership of the two ministries will work to follow up the issuance of the necessary laws and legislative to advance this sector away from the randomness and improvisation that prevailed in the past during the past periods, which caused the emergence of many problems facing investment and providing services.
For his part, the Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment explained that the planning mechanism according to neighborhood units is no longer feasible, which requires the transition to modern planning means and methods that allow planning large areas.
He emphasized the keenness to motivate capital to invest in the field of providing infrastructure encouraging investment in the areas that will be allocated for real estate investment .. indicating that the lack of service infrastructure such as sanitation, electricity and other services is one of the most important problems facing investment.
While the Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works stressed the importance of focusing on addressing the problems facing planning, because of this importance in encouraging investment in the real estate field.
The meeting reviewed the period that was made by the Committee for the Study and Modernization of the Building Law and its executive regulations, in the completion of the amendments required in the law and its regulations.
The formation of a technical committee to make a comprehensive matrix to address problems in the current situation, as well as organizing work in the future, has approved, especially with regard to planning and construction work, granting licenses and identifying the appropriate areas for investment in building residential towers.
