Qahim confirms resumption of work at Hodeida port after Israeli shell

Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Ayyash Qahim confirmed the resumption of work at Al-Hodeida port without interruption after it was bombed by the Israeli aggression.
“Thanks to God Almighty, Al-Hodeida port continues its work normally , receives ships and containers without stopping,” Qahim told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba).
He also emphasized that the Israeli aggression did not succeed in disrupting the vital activity of this strategic facility that provides services to the Yemeni.
He considered the targeting of Hodeida port a flagrant violation of all international laws that prohibit the targeting of civilian facilities and vital infrastructure. He added that “this aggression comes within the attempts of the US-Israeli-British aggression countries to tighten the economic siege on the Yemenis and dissuade them from supporting the Palestinians.”
Qahim called on the international community to assume its responsibilities towards these crimes. He called on UN organizations to take urgent action to protect civilian facilities and ensure their continued operation away from military targeting.
Transport and Public Works Minister concluded his statement by emphasizing the continuation of the ministry’s efforts to enhance work at the port and ensure the continuity of the services it provides to support the national economy and alleviate the citizens’ suffering.
