Qahim stresses the importance of developing the transportation sector and improving

Minister of Transport and Public Works Muhammad Qahim stressed the importance of developing the institutional and organizational structure to enhance performance and improve and develop services in the various transportation sectors.
Minister Qahim explained during an expanded meeting today that included leaders of the transportation sector and its affiliated bodies and institutions that the sector provides humanitarian services to the Yemeni people through airports and ports.
He urged everyone to redouble efforts in all transportation sectors, especially in the important technical and professional aspects that provide local and international services.
The Minister of Transport and Works focused on the importance of capacity building and developing the skills of sector cadres in a way that contributes to achieving qualitative change and construction in accordance with the general direction of the government.
While leaders of the transportation sectors reviewed the nature of the services provided and the difficulties facing work in the technical aspects as a result of the aggression and siege.
In turn, the heads of the Civil Aviation Authority, the Land Transport Affairs Regulatory Authority, the Red Sea Ports Corporation, and the Acting Board of Directors of Yemen Airways touched on the achievements achieved during the past period and the projects that were implemented with self-financing, most notably the restoration of readiness to Sana’a International Airport, the resumption of the work of the aircraft maintenance center, and the activity of Hodeidah Port. And organizing land transportation.
They stressed the continuation of development and achieving more successes in accordance with the strategic plans and national vision for building the state.
