Red Sea Ports Corporation and Sectors Operating at Hodeidah Port Celebrate the Prophet’s Birthday

The Red Sea Ports Corporation, Hodeidah Port Customs, the General Authority for Maritime Affairs, and the Yemeni Authority for Standardization, Metrology, and Quality Control organized an evening celebrating the Prophet’s birthday.
During the evening, Hodeidah Governor Abdullah Atifi emphasized the importance of learning lessons from the Prophet’s life and his virtues, which changed the course of history. He explained that celebrating the birthday strengthens the faith-based identity and ingrains it in the conscience of the people of Yemen.
He pointed out that the nation’s neglect of the approach of the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) has allowed the enemies of Islam, primarily the Jews and Zionists, to continue to violate and corrupt the peoples of the region without taking a decisive stance. Governor Atifi pointed out that the celebration of the birth of the Prophet coincides with Yemen’s confrontation with the forces of arrogance and its support for the oppressed in Gaza, who are being subjected to the most heinous crimes of genocide amid shameful international silence.
He explained that the Yemeni people draw inspiration from the life of the Great Prophet, peace be upon him, with lessons of patience and steadfastness in the face of tyranny, translating them into practical positions of jihad and sacrifice. He emphasized that the distinction of Yemenis lies in making the Holy Quran a living curriculum that is implemented in reality, not merely recited texts.
He addressed the crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian and Yemeni peoples, including the heinous crime that targeted the Prime Minister and his companions, stressing that no Zionist or American escalation will deter Yemen from fulfilling its religious and moral duty towards Gaza. Atifi noted that commemorating the Prophet’s birthday should reflect the practical dimension of the Prophet’s message—may God bless him and his family and grant them peace—by awakening the collective consciousness of the nation, protecting it from attempts at cultural domestication, and directing it toward practical positions in support of Palestine and confronting hegemony.
The Governor of Hodeidah called for a large and honorable attendance at the major central event in Al-Shaheed Al-Samad Square in Hodeidah City and the Al-Hussainiya Racecourse in Bayt Al-Faqih District tomorrow, Thursday, to celebrate and rejoice in the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet of the Nation.
During the evening, attended by Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works Yahya Al-Sayani, Undersecretary Nabil Al-Haifi, Chairman of the Red Sea Ports Corporation Zaid Al-Washli, and his deputy Nasr Al-Nusairi, Deputy Director of Planning at the Red Sea Ports Corporation Mohammed Mahdi explained that this occasion comes at a time when the nation’s enemies continue their attempts to break the will of the Yemeni people.
However, the firm stances and wise leadership have confirmed that Yemenis are not broken, and that the blood of leaders and martyrs strengthens their resolve and steadfastness in defending the nation. He pointed out that Yemen’s position in support of Palestine and Gaza is a solid, historic position, recorded in history with pride.
He emphasized that the blood, voices, and weapons of Yemenis are present wherever the confrontation with the Zionist enemy takes place, out of the belief that Palestine is the true test of true allegiance to the Messenger of God.
