Red Sea Ports Corporation Leadership and Staff Visit Martyrs’ Cemetery in the Governorate Center

On Saturday, November 8, 2025 (corresponding to 17 Jumada al-Ula 1447 AH), the leadership and staff of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation visited the Martyrs’ Cemetery in the center of Al Hudaydah Governorate. This visit was part of the activities commemorating the annual Martyrs’ Day and embodying the meaning of loyalty and appreciation for the sacrifices of the martyrs.
During the visit, led by the Corporation’s Chairman, Engineer Zaid Ahmed Taha Al-Washli, and the Vice Chairman, Mr. Nasr Abdullah Al-Nusairi, the visitors recited Al-Fatihah (the opening chapter of the Quran) for the souls of the righteous martyrs, affirming that their pure blood paved the clear path to achieving dignity and honor for Yemen.
The Chairman of the Corporation considered the visit to the Martyrs’ Cemetery a renewed spiritual and educational milestone, through which the employees of the Red Sea Ports Corporation draw inspiration from the meanings of steadfastness, resilience, and the spirit of sacrifice and selflessness, and from following in the footsteps of the martyrs in defending the homeland, its resources, and its vital facilities, foremost among them the ports.
He pointed out that the martyrs are the architects of pride and dignity, and thanks to their sacrifices, Yemen’s presence and honorable stances in supporting the causes of the nation have grown, especially the Palestinian cause. He emphasized that these sacrifices have formed the cornerstone of unwavering positions that brook no compromise regarding liberation issues and confronting hegemonic projects in the region.
For his part, the Vice Chairman of the Corporation explained that loyalty to the martyrs requires drawing inspiration from the spirit of sacrifice and steadfastness they embodied on the battlefields, adhering to their approach in defending the homeland and the causes of the nation, and consolidating the faith-based and patriotic values for which they gave their lives.
He affirmed that the institution’s employees remain committed to protecting the ports and improving their performance, and to continuing their steadfastness in the face of hostile conspiracies targeting economic facilities, embodying the path of the martyrs and their sacrifices for the dignity, freedom, and independence of the nation.
Meanwhile, the institution’s employees expressed their pride in the martyrs’ sacrifices and their great stature, emphasizing that their visit to the Martyrs’ Cemetery represents an opportunity to remember their heroic deeds, renew their pledge to follow in their footsteps, and reinforce awareness of the values of resilience and steadfastness in confronting the challenges facing the nation.
