Revolution Leader: The Quranic Project is More Present Than Ever Before, and We Are Serious About Targeting Any Israeli Enemy Presence in “Somaliland”

The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirmed that the Quranic project of Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi is more present than ever before, and is a manifestation of God’s promise to His believing, oppressed, and patient servants.
In his speech today commemorating the anniversary of the Martyr of the Quran, the Leader considered this anniversary an opportunity to learn from the aspects of his character and emulate him.
He pointed out that the Martyr of the Quran acted during a period of weakness and suffering, and the enemies were certain that they could rely on international support to suppress the Quranic project. He emphasized that the enemies failed in their objective of killing the Martyr of the Quran, and that his martyrdom was linked to the noblest and most sacred project. He said, “On the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Quran, we reaffirm the sacred and blessed cause, the great sacrifice, and the sacrifices of all the martyrs in the Quranic movement, as well as the injustice suffered by the martyrdom of the Quran, his companions, and the struggling nation.”
Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi addressed the Israeli enemy’s persistent attempts to achieve its objectives in Somalia, given its strategic location opposite the Gulf of Aden and Bab al-Mandab. He emphasized that the enemy entity’s efforts to control these waterways threaten the entire region and aim to dismantle and fragment the nation.
He stated, “The criminal Sa’ar’s visit to Somalia was clandestine, facilitated by infiltration through Ethiopia. This covert visit to Somalia stemmed from his fear of the Yemeni stance. It is clear that the criminal Sa’ar was afraid of Yemen’s position, but the level of Arab and Islamic support did not intimidate him.”
The leader of the revolution reiterated Yemen’s unwavering commitment to supporting the brotherly Muslim people of Somalia, adding, “What is happening in Somalia is of paramount importance to us because it poses a threat to Yemen and the peoples of the region, and this is a matter we can never remain silent about.” He said, “Issuing statements regarding Israeli activity in Somaliland is insufficient, as the enemy completely disregards and values them.” He emphasized the continuation of monitoring operations and efforts to strengthen the monitoring of Israeli activity in Somaliland.
He added, “We are serious about targeting any Israeli presence in Somaliland, whether a military base or anything similar. Any permanent Zionist presence that we find within our reach will not be met with military action.”
The leader began his speech by speaking about the martyr of the Quran, Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, explaining that the occasion of commemorating his martyrdom is one of victory granted by God, and that his martyrdom had a profound impact on the great victory God achieved for the blessed Quranic project. He noted that the Yemeni people widely commemorated the anniversary at both the official and popular levels.
He said, “Commemorating this anniversary within the framework of the established, victorious, and deeply rooted project—the blessed and sacred Quranic project—is a commemoration of the advancements God has bestowed upon this project, a fruit of the immense contributions of the Martyr of the Quran, his efforts, and his fellow martyrs.”
He explained that the annual commemoration of the Martyr of the Quran comes within the context of the blessed presence of the people of faith and wisdom worldwide, and the Islamic nation in particular, at a crucial juncture. He added, “We live the memory of the Martyr of the Quran, Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, every day, following a Quranic path that cultivates awareness, illuminates the way, inspires with Quranic knowledge, and brightens the vision with its popular momentum carrying the banner.”
He continued, “The commemoration of the Martyr of the Quran reinforces the sacred and blessed cause, the great sacrifice, and all the martyrs in the Quranic movement, as well as the injustice suffered by the Martyr of the Quran, his companions, and the struggling nation.” He explained that the situation of those who oppose the Quranic project—regimes subservient to America and Israel—is the same as that of the arrogant powers in every time and place. He emphasized that the oppressive practices against those affiliated with the Quranic project—including imprisonment, killing, destruction, numerous wars, and misleading media attacks waged with enormous resources—have failed, while the project has grown and flourished.
Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi addressed “the important principles we desperately need to consider in light of the challenges we face, particularly the prominent personal characteristics of the martyr of the Quran, namely, his unwavering trust in God Almighty.”
He stated that one of the most prominent qualities of the martyr of the Quran was his profound trust in God, which was evident in his lessons and lectures, where he focused on it in diagnosing the state of the nation. He pointed out that the martyred leader placed the crisis of trust in God at the forefront of the nation’s problems, but this crisis of trust in God has negatively impacted the nation’s stances and reality. He explained that the Martyr of the Quran acted without military support, operating in extremely vulnerable circumstances and from scratch. He added, “The Martyr of the Quran’s faith in God was immense, and this faith was evident in his actions, the strength of his stance, and the circumstances under which he acted, with the enemies at the height of their aggression against our Islamic nation at the beginning of the third millennium.”
The Leader then reviewed the general state of Arab regimes at the time of the Martyr of the Quran’s rise, which was characterized by widespread defeat across most of the Arab and Islamic world.
He said, “After the American, Israeli, and Western offensive under the guise of combating terrorism, these regimes rushed to appease the Americans, submitting to them and obeying them under the banner of alliance.”
He added, “This official stance was reflected in the popular sentiment of most nations, resulting in a general state of defeat, surrender, and submission—a reality open to the enemies. The voice of the Martyr of the Quran was different from the others; it was a voice that proclaimed the truth, spoke the Holy Quran, and acted with a sense of responsibility.” He explained that the voice of the martyr of the Quran was raised against the enemies in their attack, which poses a grave danger to the nation in its religion and worldly affairs, and results in the loss of freedom and dignity. He pointed out that the nation has been transformed from a state of absolute servitude to its worst enemies—the arms of American, Israeli, and British Zionism—to one of obliterating its Islamic identity and subjugating it.
He continued, “The martyr of the Quran’s faith in God was conscious; it was based on the belief that the Holy Quran contains comprehensive guidance for what will rectify the nation’s situation and change its deplorable and regrettable reality. The martyr of the Quran’s faith in God was based on faith in the explicit divine promise of victory, and the inaction of most of the nation stems from a weakness of faith in this divine promise.”
He illuminates the path and reveals the truth to the people, making it clear to them. He fortifies the nation with insight, and a high level of awareness is evident in the lectures and lessons of the Martyr of the Quran. He also highlights the greatness of the Holy Quran in the evidence he presents.” Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi stated that studying the personality of the Martyr of the Quran and the prominent features of his character truly demonstrates how he lived a Quranic life and in the qualities he possessed. He added, “Among the characteristics of the Quranic project is its necessity, and that we, as a Muslim nation, must have a project upon which we can act in confronting what targets us as a Muslim nation.” He continued, “We are a targeted Muslim nation, and the greatest and most dangerous targeting of us is the Jewish targeting, which operates through major arms in this world.” He pointed out that the nation is targeted by international powers—America, Israel, and Britain—powerful forces with enormous capabilities, allied with the infidel West. He further stated, “Within our Islamic sphere, there are many regimes, forces, and movements that are working with America, Israel, and Britain militarily, through the media, and culturally.” Economically, according to a pre-arranged plan, regional regimes and powers in our Arab arena compete, vying and disagreeing over who can best serve America, and within our Arab world, some compete to offer the most to American conspiracies.” The martyred leader expressed his regret that the nation is targeted by a Zionist-Jewish onslaught, carried out through powerful entities and forces possessing all the necessary capabilities. He emphasized that the Israeli enemy, planted by our adversaries in the heart of the Arab and Islamic region to serve as an advanced front, penetrates our arena to its core and imposes its complete control.
A very significant advantage of this project is its clarity and purity, where the title and content are in perfect harmony.
He said, “When we revisit the lessons and lectures of the martyr of the Quran, we find clarity and purity, along with clear and pristine concepts. One of the superior qualities of the Quranic project is its strength, for it possesses the power of truth, compelling argument, and compelling evidence. However, some projects are presented with attractive and deceptive titles, but their content is fraudulent.”
The Leader emphasized that the Quranic project is realistic, grounded in reality, and applicable. Everyone is involved in it, and it mobilizes the masses and the elite. It is not a project detached from people’s realities; it is a wise and fruitful project, and its effectiveness is crucial in fortifying the nation from within, in its loyalties, stances, orientations, and awareness.
He added, “We desperately need the Quranic project in this era to practically build the nation, expose the schemes of its enemies, and thwart them. This project fulfills all requirements, including those related to the stance towards the enemies and the struggle against them.” He spoke about the effectiveness of the Quranic project, which was evident in its participants, highlighting how it elevated them from a state of complete absence to a high level of presence and effectiveness. He also noted the tangible results achieved on the ground, clearly keeping pace with changes and events.
He continued, “All events testify to the Quranic project’s continued relevance; it has not become a relic of the past, fading away and becoming detached from reality. Whenever one reflects on the lectures and lessons presented by this Quranic project, they seem as relevant to their time, and this is a blessing from the Holy Quran.”
He pointed out that one of the Quranic project’s significant advantages is the profound value it places on jihad and sacrifice, all within the framework of a project that connects us to God Almighty. He emphasized that the Quranic project confronts the greatest and most dangerous attempts by enemies to strip Muslims of their human, spiritual, and moral essence.
The Leader of the Revolution reiterated that the enemies seek to transform the Muslim individual into a subservient being, shaping their thought, culture, and orientations, so that their entire life becomes subservient to their influence and control. He explained that the Quranic project fortifies the individual, preventing them from being among those who sell their loyalty in the auction of political bargaining, nor among those who are easily deceived and thus serve the enemies.
He said, “We are moving forward with the Quranic project fully aware of its importance and necessity, and that it is not a futile or problematic project in reality. Rather, it came to fulfill a vital need we experience in our reality. It is very unfortunate that many members of the nation have not yet begun to consider the targeting, the reality, and the dangers, despite all the events perpetrated by America and Israel.” He added, “Many people, even among the elite, remain in a state of apathy and waiting for the unknown. Some even hold negative or hostile stances toward the Quranic project. Many completely disregard any objective consideration of the Quranic project, its Quranic authenticity, and the need for it. Some even follow the enemy’s propaganda in their view of the project.”
Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi addressed the nation, saying, “The evidence against the dangers targeting it is immense. The American and Israeli enemy is clear, and its true nature is at its most exposed during this current phase. The level of exposure and scandal of the American, Israeli, and Zionist agenda is unprecedented. The enemies are working hard to cover up their crimes and intentions with deceptive pretenses.”
He said, “Since the aggression against Gaza, the American and Israeli objectives have been greatly exposed, and they speak of them quite openly. The enemies’ official statements about a ‘Greater Israel’ and changing the ‘Middle East’ have clearly revealed their goals.” He pointed out that the extent of the American and Israeli crimes and genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza has been exposed, causing a global shock even to distant nations and peoples. This profound shock at Zionist aggression has revived the human conscience and made people realize the brutality of what the Americans and Israelis are doing.
He expressed regret that many regimes and peoples, unfortunately, are still far behind in reacting appropriately and understanding the gravity of the situation. He emphasized that the Israeli enemy continues its crimes and attacks against the Palestinian people.
He continued, “What the Israeli enemy is doing in Gaza and the West Bank, its violation of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and its attacks on the Ibrahimi Mosque are crimes witnessed daily by the nation. The enemy’s crimes and violations in Palestine must not become commonplace; this is a dangerous situation for the nation.”
The leader also addressed the Israeli enemy’s continued aggression against Lebanon and its violations of Syrian sovereignty, adding, “With the announcement of the second phase of the Gaza agreement, look at what the Israeli enemy is doing in the first phase of the agreement.” He emphasized that the Israeli enemy is not fulfilling most of the terms of the agreement, maintaining a largely ongoing siege, daily killings, continuous attacks and destruction, and committing all forms of crimes in Gaza on a daily basis.
He said, “When we hear the titles of agreements, we must never consider the matter resolved, because the Israeli enemy continues its occupation, crimes, and attacks, posing a grave danger to the nation. Our nation must not be deceived when it hears the titles of peace being touted by the Americans and other powers.”
He warned that the Zionist threat persists, and the occupation and criminal practices continue daily in the West Bank and Jerusalem. The occupation of all of Palestine remains, he pointed to what the enemies have done in the Islamic Republic of Iran, targeting it through criminal gangs by the Americans and Israelis.
The Leader of the Revolution indicated that criminal gangs in Iran have killed Iranian citizens and security personnel, burned mosques, and committed heinous crimes in Iran bearing the hallmarks of American tactics, including slaughter and burning people alive. He continued, “The burning of dozens of mosques in Iran and other crimes are clearly linked to the Americans and Israelis. Both the Americans and Israelis endorse and incite the crimes of these gangs in Iran; they are, in fact, their supporters, and even their creators.”
He emphasized that the Americans are clear in their tactics of targeting the people of the nation by creating and exploiting crises. He explained that the Americans impose economic sanctions on Iran and besiege the Iranian people, then try to use the crisis they created to stir up trouble, sending criminal gangs to spearhead these problems. Their ultimate goal is to control Iran.
He reiterated that the Americans have failed in Iran due to the vigilance and awareness of the Iranian people, who took to the streets in a magnificent and awe-inspiring million-strong demonstration, expressing their true identity, their adherence to their revolution, their Islamic system, and their liberationist orientation. This demonstration also demonstrates that they will not submit to America, will not yield, and will not surrender to it.
He addressed the American global approach based on tyranny, arrogance, and injustice, explaining that this approach is exposed, as demonstrated by its aggression against Venezuela, the kidnapping of Maduro and his wife, and the blatant aim of plundering the Venezuelan people’s wealth.
The leader clarified that the Americans openly declare their objective of controlling Greenland, with its rare minerals and vast resources. He emphasized that American bullying, tyranny, and recklessness pose a threat to all the world’s peoples, underscoring the importance of global action.
He continued, “What the Americans did in Venezuela, and what they want in Greenland, serves as a lesson for our nation, which they harbor resentment towards and for which they have objectives and a project they seek to implement in our region.” He pointed out that all events testify to the correctness of the approach, stance, and actions of the great and widespread Yemeni people in support of the Palestinian people during the Israeli aggression against Gaza, and in the ongoing general mobilization and awareness campaigns in preparation for the next round. He continued, saying, “We are living in a global environment where the world’s tyrants and oppressors act with such barbarity, brutality, and tyranny, openly justifying their desire to occupy this country or that homeland.” He emphasized that the enemies are brazenly and openly displaying their tyranny, aggression, and criminality.
He added, “At this stage, we are operating within the framework of preparing for the next round, because conflict with the Israeli-American enemy is inevitable, whether directly or through proxies.” He pointed out that the actions of regional proxies are aligned with the American role, activities, direction, and objectives, and their connection to the Americans is clear and blatant.
The leader praised the ongoing activities under the banner of preparing for the next round, particularly the general mobilization activities in military training courses, the tribal gatherings that included all tribes in the liberated provinces, and the Friday gatherings.
He also commended the level of awareness and cultural activities, the events in which scholars, preachers, and intellectuals are active, and the educational activities. He said, “Within the framework of extensive activity and military preparedness, and readiness at all levels, we are operating in accordance with the Holy Quran, as evidenced by all realities, events, and changes, which attest to its importance and necessity. Our actions are guided by the great, principled, humane, ethical, and Quranic approach, and we trust in God, fully aware of the importance and necessity of our current situation.”
He warned that aligning with the Americans will never provide any protection for regimes, as it makes them vulnerable. He pointed out that some regimes fail to learn from the fate of previous leaders who aligned themselves with the Americans, who can easily dispose of them whenever they wish.
The leader of the revolution explained that aligning with the Americans and Israelis weakens the internal stability of these regimes, leaving them without any immunity or strength to protect their internal positions. He said, “When the Americans and Israelis target these regimes, they will show no regard for anything, as we saw in Greenland. They don’t even consider their European allies. All those who align themselves with the Americans and act against their own nation and the Yemeni people are destined to lose.” He affirmed that the ultimate outcome of aligning with the Americans and acting within the framework of their conspiracies and agendas is loss, disintegration, and annihilation, adding, “Whoever allows the Americans and Israelis to penetrate them on the military, economic, and intelligence levels will have no foothold left to stand against complete domination.”
He continued, “We remain steadfast within the framework of the Quranic project, continuing with unwavering confidence in our position. What could be greater than adhering to the Book of God? We are part of a liberation movement imbued with faith-based pride and human dignity, and we see ample evidence around us of the true nature of our enemies.”
He stated that the anniversary of the Isra’ (Night Journey) is a great and beneficial occasion, deserving of attention, and contains lessons related to Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is one of the most important points of contention in the conflict with the Israeli enemy.
Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi concluded his speech by saying, “There are some topics we will discuss, God willing, on the anniversary of the martyrdom of al-Samad, may God have mercy on him.”
