Sa’dah Governor Mohammed Jaber Awad inspected the progress of the second phase of the Dammaj-Al Salem road construction and paving project today. The 20-kilometer road is being constructed and paved by the General Authority for Roads and Bridges at a cost of 249 million riyals, funded by the Road Maintenance Fund.

The governor emphasized the importance of expediting the project’s completion before the rainy season, which places a significant burden on residents. He also highlighted the project’s crucial role in alleviating the difficulties faced by citizens in traveling from their areas to the governorate’s capital. He urged those in charge of the project to adhere to the engineering specifications, emphasizing the governorate’s leadership’s commitment to supporting the efforts of the corporation and the fund in implementing service projects that address citizens’ needs and alleviate their suffering.
He was accompanied by the Deputy Director of the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges branch, Engineer Arif Al-Sama’i.
