Sana’a Governorate Local Administration Discusses Implementation of Development Projects in the Governorate

The Sana’a Governorate Administrative Authority, chaired by Governor Abdulbasit Al-Hadi, discussed topics related to the implementation of several development projects in its meeting today.
The meeting, which included the Secretary-General of the Governorate Local Authority, Abdulqader Al-Jilani, and members of the Authority, Abdulsalam Al-Jaifi, Mahyoub Mahdi, and Ali Al-Suhaili, as well as the Deputy Governor for Technical Affairs, Engineer Saleh Al-Muntasir, reviewed the outcomes of the previous meeting and the level of implementation of decisions.
The attendees also discussed the proposals and requests submitted by a number of concerned offices and entities regarding the implementation of several service projects and the technical and administrative measures to improve performance.
The meeting approved the request of the Undersecretary for Technical Affairs and the Head of the Public Works Sector to extend the implementation period for project contracts concluded with the Executive Unit for eight road projects.
It also approved the matrix of training programs and workshops in the field of institutional building submitted by the Directors of Research and Training, Civil Service, and Administrative Development as part of the training plan for the year 1446 AH.
The meeting approved the request of the General Authority for Rural Water Projects branch regarding the estimated cost of testing the well of the Mufahaq Water Project in the Al-Haymah Al-Kharijiyah District, and the additional work for the project to rehabilitate and implement a roof to protect the Ghayl Hijrat Al-Dabainah in the Sanhan and Bani Bahloul Districts.
The topics referred to the Administrative Board by several executive offices were also reviewed, and appropriate decisions were taken.
At the meeting, Governor Al-Hadi stressed the need to implement service projects according to priority and need, particularly sustainable development projects that address citizens’ needs.
He emphasized the local authority’s commitment to overcoming difficulties and providing the necessary capabilities to implement basic service projects and develop infrastructure in all districts of the governorate.
The meeting was attended by the directors of the governorate’s finance offices, Taha Al-Nono, the financial affairs at the governorate’s office, Mohammed Al-Omeisi, the cleanliness fund, Engineer Sami Al-Turabi, the community initiatives, Engineer Mohammed Al-Nizari, the legal office, Suwaidan Al-Barh, the rural water, Engineer Yahya Al-Shahari, the public works officials, Engineer Mohammed Ashiya, the acting executive unit for projects, Engineer Mohammed Makram, the deputy directors of the health office, Dr. Mujahid Al-Rumaim, and the agricultural and fisheries projects and initiatives financing unit, Engineer Abdul Rahman Al-Asadi.
