Sana’a… Inspection of Asphalting Work on 30th Street in Shamlan Area, Hamdan District November 19, 2025

 

The Deputy Governor of Sana’a for Technical Affairs, Engineer Saleh Al-Muntasir, inspected today the progress of the asphalting work on 30th Street – the Shamlan Ring Road in Hamdan District.

Deputy Governor Al-Muntasir listened to an explanation from the head of the governorate’s Public Works Department, Engineer Mohammed Ashiya, about the work completed on the project and its progress rate, which has reached 70 percent. This is part of the second phase of the project, which is being implemented by the governorate’s Projects Executive Unit at a cost of 80,704,000 riyals.

During the visit, Deputy Governor Al-Muntasir urged those in charge of the project to pay attention to the technical specifications and adhere to the timeframe stipulated in the work contract.

The head of Hamdan Public Works, Engineer Abed Shaya, and the project manager, Engineer Taha Al-Dhaifani, explained that an area of ​​3,375 square meters has been asphalted, using 450 tons of asphalt, with a length of 500 meters and a width of 15 meters. They indicated that the work was carried out according to the specifications and technical conditions stipulated in the specifications booklet.

He was accompanied during the visit by the director of the directorate, Fahd Attia, the deputy head of Hamdan Works, Engineer Ahmed Shana, and a number of other officials.
