Sheikh Miftah Discusses the Ministry’s Activities and its Subordinate Units with Al-Sayani and Officials

 

Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Miftah discussed with Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works Yahya Al-Sayani and sector officials today the Ministry’s activities and its subordinate units, the level of implementation of approved projects and programs for the year 1447 AH, and ways to address difficulties and mitigate current challenges.

The meeting addressed the efforts made and urgent measures taken by the Ministry to address the repercussions of the ongoing criminal Israeli aggression on the port of Hodeidah.

The Acting Prime Minister praised the various efforts made by everyone in the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, various other ministries and their affiliated bodies, and local authorities in the capital and governorates.

He emphasized that every effort made in carrying out daily tasks, serving citizens with high responsibility, or implementing development projects and programs is appreciated by everyone in the leadership and government.

He pointed to the magnitude of the responsibility placed on the large and multi-faceted transport and public works sector, and the importance of intertwining everyone’s efforts to enhance daily, monthly, and annual performance and achievement.

Al-Alameh Miftah emphasized that serving citizens, simplifying and facilitating procedures, and expediting the resolution of their transactions should be among the priorities and must be on the minds of officials across all sectors.

He explained that the American-Israeli aggression against our homeland and our people, and its systematic targeting of civilian objects and civilians, has only strengthened and will only strengthen our dear, free, and proud Yemeni people and their steadfastness in adhering to the truth, continuing to confront and support their oppressed brothers in the Gaza Strip, and the central cause of the nation, Palestine.

He praised the heroic actions of the struggling Palestinian resistance, and their relentless pursuit of justice and their defeat of the enemy’s soldiers and advanced military equipment.

He noted the successive developments witnessed by the Yemeni Armed Forces in both offensive and defensive fields, coinciding with their effective support for the people of Gaza and their valiant resistance, as witnessed by all.

The Acting Prime Minister stated that the health of Minister Mohammed Qahim is steadily improving, and he is expected to return to the ministry soon to continue his leadership of this institutional edifice and his national role in serving his country and people.

He hoped everyone would succeed in their daily tasks and in implementing the programs and projects of the annual plan, as well as those related to serving citizens and simplifying and facilitating procedures.

He explained that the presence of will and a sense of national and historical responsibility are essential factors for overcoming difficulties, devising solutions to various challenges, and achieving the progress to which the great Yemeni people aspire.

Deputy Minister Al-Sayani reviewed the ministry’s overall performance, the level of implementation of regular tasks, and development projects at the ministry and affiliated agencies, foremost among them the automation and networking project.

He stressed that the Israeli-American enemy’s targeting of the ministry’s infrastructure will always be met with greater will and determination to confront and move forward to address the damage and ensure continued operations, especially at the ports of Hodeidah, which represent the lifeline for the overwhelming majority of the Yemeni people.
