Taiz Public Works Office Conducts Campaign to Remove Violations and Protect the Master Plan

the Public Works Office in Taiz Governorate conducted a field campaign to remove a number of violations in the city. This campaign is part of ongoing efforts to preserve the master plan and urban appearance and prevent slums.
Engineer Bakil Ali, Director of the Public Works Office in the governorate, explained that the campaign resulted in the removal of nine violations at the site of the Shaab Al-Dhahab School in Sector 4, a fencing violation on Street 20, and the removal of a building on a culvert in Neighborhood Unit No. 611.
He indicated that the campaign aims to stop any tampering with urban planning and prevent the distortion of the urban image of Taiz. He emphasized that the office will not tolerate any complacency in enforcing legal measures against violators. The Director of the Public Works Office warned against encroaching on the master plan or seizing sites designated for government facilities, noting that all violations will be removed without exception in accordance with the law, and deterrent measures will be taken against violators.
He praised the support of the governorate’s local authority leadership for the office’s efforts to organize the city and maintain its infrastructure in line with citizens’ aspirations and sustainable development requirements.
