The Board of Directors of the Red Sea Ports Corporation discusses the evaluation of performance and financial position for the third quarter of the year 2023

The Board of Directors of the Yemen Red Sea Corporation discussed, in its meeting today, Monday, 12-11-2023 AD, at the Corporation’s main center in the port of Hodeidah, headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Marine Engineer Yasser Muhammad Ahmed, an evaluation of the performance and financial position of the Corporation for the third quarter of the year 2023 AD.

The meeting reviewed the mechanism for implementing the decisions of the Board of Directors, the aspects related to the navigational and commercial services provided in the Corporation’s ports toward arriving ships and ships, and the processing and preparation of the yards in a way that contributes to providing greater capacity in the Corporation’s ports to accommodate various goods and merchandise.

The meeting discussed aspects related to the single maritime window in accordance with the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) of the United Nations, in a way that enhances the institution’s role and level of performance in the coming period.
The meeting also discussed a number of topics on the agenda related to automation, training and qualification, and appropriate decisions were taken regarding them.

The members of the Board of Directors enriched the meeting with meaningful discussions that would enhance work, rationalize spending, and develop resources.

The members of the Board of Directors asked the concerned departments to correct the work and establish appropriate procedures and mechanisms to organize the work.

The meeting was attended by members of the Board of Directors, the representative of the Ministry of Transport, Dr. Khaled Al-Nimr, the representative of the Ministry of Finance, Nasr Al-Nusairi, the representative of the local authority, Ahmed Shaabin, the Director General of the Maritime Affairs Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mushki, the representative of the Coast Guard, Colonel Salman Jamai, and the Secretary of the Board of Directors, Mr. Abdul-Ilah Al-Wasabi. The meeting was also attended by the general directors of the President’s Office. The Board of Directors, Ali Al-Ansi and Human Resources, Ahmed Atta, the Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Information Technology, Nader Qaed, the Advisor to the Chairman of the Board, Jamal Radman, the Director General of Financial Affairs, Abdullah Harbah, his deputy, Adel Faqir, and the Director of Public Accounts, Hassan Al-Rifai.
