The Council of Ministers condemns the US decision to classify Ansar Allah as a terrorist organization and blesses the victory of the Palestinian people

The Council of Ministers discussed in its meeting today, chaired by the Council Chairman Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, the topics on its agenda and took appropriate decisions and measures regarding them.

The Council began its meeting with verses from the Holy Quran, then listened to excerpts from the covenant of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, to Malik Al-Ashtar Al-Nakha’i.

The Council extended its warm greetings and congratulations to the Palestinian people with all their heroic resistance factions in the Gaza Strip for their resounding victory over the Zionist enemy and the NATO countries.

He praised the prominent role of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the sons of the Yemeni people and the leaders of the axis of resistance in Iran, Iraq and Lebanon in this great victory over the usurping enemy entity.. stressing that the battle of “Al-Aqsa Flood” will be a pivotal battle in the history of the existential struggle of the nation against the Zionist enemy and a major starting point for the liberation of Al-Aqsa and Palestine.

The Council of Ministers pointed to the bitterness of the defeat that controls the Zionist entity and the resignation of many of its military leaders from their positions in a clear indication of the disgraceful defeat.

He reiterated the readiness and preparedness of the government of change and construction to implement the directives of the supreme leadership regarding continuing to support the sons of the brotherly Palestinian people in the event of a renewed Zionist aggression against them.

The Council condemned the US President’s decision to reclassify Ansar Allah as a “foreign terrorist organization”, stressing that the real terrorist is the United States of America, which is participating with the Israeli enemy in killing the children and women of Gaza for more than a year with advanced lethal weapons and political and media cover.

He stressed that the classification will only increase the steadfastness and perseverance of the Yemeni people and their free political forces, led by Ansar Allah, on the right and in defense of it, and foremost among them the right of the Republic of Yemen to liberation, independence and sovereignty over its entire territory and to support the oppressed.

He stressed that this old-new decision does not serve stability in the region and the peace efforts sponsored by the United Nations to achieve a just and honorable peace for the Yemeni people. He called on the free people of the world to condemn the classification decision, which came against the backdrop of the principled and honorable position of the Yemeni people in supporting and backing the brothers in Gaza and all of Palestine.

The Cabinet listened to the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, explaining the departure of the crew of the ship “Galaxy Leader”, numbering 25 people, from Sana’a on board a plane belonging to the sisterly Sultanate of Oman as part of the ceasefire arrangements in Gaza.

The Cabinet approved the draft training program for administrative leaders in central public service units “first phase”, submitted by the Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development, Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali.

The program aims to understand the leadership’s orientations and priorities of the stage and the ability to transfer them to the reality of implementation and enhance the values of responsibility and honesty in assuming public responsibility, as well as develop leadership and supervisory capabilities and skills in a way that enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of performance and change management capabilities and consolidates positive communication between administrative leaders in public service units.

The Council directed the Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers to adhere to the contents of the decision and work to take executive measures in accordance with it.. praising the efforts made by Dr. Al-Hawali and his staff to prepare the unified mechanism and the development training program.

The Council discussed the memorandum submitted by the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Samir Bajala, regarding the outcomes of the symposium on updating and developing the legislative structure for the rights of persons with disabilities, which was held last December with the participation of all concerned and relevant parties.
The Council directed all relevant and concerned government agencies to take the necessary measures to translate the recommendations of the symposium, each in its own regard, based on the national and moral responsibility that falls on everyone towards this segment and to work to promote their rights and bring about a qualitative shift in the process of integrating them into society in various fields. The Council of Ministers reviewed the report of the Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Hassan Al-Saadi, on the progress of the preparation and preparation process by the Ministry for the ministerial exams for the academic year 1446 AH – 2024-2025 AD.
