The General Directorate for Women at the Roads Authority Commemorates the Birth Anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Zahra

The General Directorate for Women at the General Authority for Roads and Bridges organized an event today to commemorate the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her).
During the event, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority, Engineer Abdulrahman al-Hadrami, highlighted the importance of commemorating the birth anniversary of al-Zahra, as she is the ultimate example of faith and a role model for all women worldwide.
He emphasized that Lady al-Zahra’s life was filled with giving and sacrifice, and that God honored her with a great status not only because she was the daughter of the Prophet, but also because of her influential role, her exemplary life, and the values, qualities, and virtues she possessed.
Al-Hadrami pointed to the importance of learning from the life of Lady Fatima al-Zahra, understanding her approach to her home and her interactions with her neighbors, as well as how she raised her children, and other matters that benefit women and empower them to fulfill their important role in society, especially in building future generations. The Director General of Women’s Affairs at the Foundation, Haifa Al-Saraji, emphasized the importance of commemorating this occasion to discuss Fatima Al-Zahra, the Lady of the Women of the Worlds, a great figure who exemplified the ideal of the conscious and faithful woman.
She pointed out that Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon her, contributed through her noble life to establishing faith-based and moral values in Islamic society.
She noted that Al-Zahra’s life is a school of faith, awareness, patience, and generosity, highlighting the pivotal role of women in building the family and society, stemming from their religious and humanitarian responsibilities.
Al-Saraji stated that Al-Zahra was distinguished by her piety, chastity, good character, humility, eloquence, courage, and unwavering support for truth alongside her father, the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and her husband, Imam Ali, peace be upon him.
Speeches delivered at the event, which included the Foundation’s female staff, emphasized the importance of Al-Zahra as a role model and exemplary figure for Muslim women, stressing the necessity of revisiting her life to learn from her remarkable experiences and examples.
