The Government of Change and Construction and the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs’ Families held today the official launch event for the Martyr’s Anniversary 1446 AH, under the slogan “The sacrifices of the martyrs yielded glory, victory and strength.”

In the event, Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi pointed out that everyone is commemorating today the makers of victory for the nation, those who sacrificed their pure souls so that everyone in this country could live in security and stability.

He explained that the state of security and stability that the Yemeni people are living in is thanks to God first and then thanks to these great people who were martyred for the sake of God and to support the truth and for the freedom and independence of the homeland.

He said, “Their sacrifices have resulted in victory, pride, dignity and strength, as the Yemeni people and their armed forces stand today with strength and pride in the face of the American devil, its British offspring and its criminal, usurping protégé Israel, forcing its aircraft carriers and destroyers to leave the Red and Arab seas.”

He added, “Yemen stands today with pride and a noble spirit in the face of those who terrified the world with their striking forces that our missile forces, drones and naval forces confronted, while continuing to support and provide effective support to our brothers in Gaza and Lebanon through the naval blockade and direct targeting of the depth of the Zionist enemy.”

Al-Rahwi stressed that the Yemeni people today are stronger than they were in 2015 and possess the reasons for strength that qualify them to carry out their duty towards their nation and its main cause, Palestine, and to continue this religious, moral and fraternal duty.

He pointed out that Yemen seeks more than that in relation to confronting the American and British enemy and hurting the usurping Zionist enemy that has gone too far and brutally in killing our brothers in Gaza and Lebanon and has spread corruption on earth.

The Prime Minister offered his condolences to the souls of the martyr leaders who were martyred on the road to Jerusalem, most notably Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Hashem Safieddine, Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar, and all the martyrs of the homeland and the axis of resistance who were martyred on this road.
