The House of Representatives adjourns its sessions until the standing committees complete their tasks

 

The House of Representatives continued its sessions for the current session of its annual term today, chaired by Speaker Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i.

During the session, the House reviewed a brief report on its work during the first period of the second session of the 20th annual term.

Members also continued their discussions on a number of important issues, urging the standing parliamentary committees to expedite their work and tasks, particularly those related to monitoring the implementation of the Government of Change and Construction’s recommendations and assessing the level of achievement of the general program submitted by the government.

The House approved the adjournment of its sessions until the standing parliamentary committees complete their tasks regarding the evaluation of government agencies’ achievements of the Government of Change and Construction’s program and the House’s recommendations, and submit their reports on the matter so that the House can discuss it.

The Council began its session by reviewing and approving its previous minutes.
