The Land Transport Authority and Heavy Transport Offices in Hodeidah Commemorate the Martyr’s Day 1447 AH

The General Authority for Land Transport Regulation and Heavy Transport Offices in Hodeidah Governorate organized a speech event today to commemorate the Martyr’s Day 1447 AH.
During the event, the Governorate Governor, Abdullah Atifi, emphasized the importance of commemorating this great anniversary to draw lessons of sacrifice and redemption from the martyrs, who represent a symbol of steadfastness for the sake of the nation. He explained that the blood of the martyrs was and will remain a beacon guiding generations toward freedom, pride, and dignity.
He pointed out that the sacrifices of the martyrs will remain a badge of pride on the chests of all citizens of the country, emphasizing the need to honor their sacrifices by remaining steadfast in their path and following in their footsteps in confronting Yemen’s enemies and defending the oppressed among the nation’s people. Ateifi considered the commemoration of the annual occasion a renewal of the pledge and loyalty to the martyrs, and an affirmation of the commitment to moving forward in facing all challenges with steadfastness and perseverance until victory and pride are achieved for the nation and all enemy plots and conspiracies are thwarted.
He explained that the duty towards the martyrs is not limited to commemorating their memory alone, but rather includes caring for their families, appreciating their sacrifices, and caring for the children of the martyrs as an extension of those sacrifices.
Governor Ateifi pointed out that the culture of martyrdom is one of the most important pillars of popular and national steadfastness, and that nations that honor their martyrs and commemorate their sacrifices are invincible nations.
At the event, attended by Member of Parliament Ali Al-Mansouri and Deputy Governors Ali Qashar and Mohammed Halisi, Mohammed Balghaith, in his speech, considered the commemoration of the anniversary a message to every Yemeni that sacrificing for the sake of God and defending the oppressed are among the noblest values.
He emphasized that the martyrs created a bright future for Yemen and demonstrated its standing to the entire world. He added that their sacrifices have become a source of strength and inspiration for the nation’s citizens, including the Palestinian people, who sacrifice hundreds of martyrs daily for their just cause.
For his part, Riyadh Al-Junaid, in a speech on behalf of the Transport Sector, explained that the anniversary embodies the spirit of loyalty and gratitude for those who gave their lives in defense of the land and dignity.
He emphasized that the Land Transport Regulatory Authority’s employees will remain loyal to the martyrs’ blood by continuing to work and give in various fields of endeavor, shouldering the responsibility of achieving the goals for which the martyrs sacrificed.
The event, which was attended by leaders and employees of the Transport Authority and a number of executive office directors, included sessions that emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from the martyrs’ sacrifices and adhering to the principles for which they died.
