The Minister of Transport and Works inspects the workflow of the 16th Street maintenance project in the Capital Secretariat
the Minister of Transport and Public Works, Muhammad Ayyash Qahim, inspected the progress of the implementation of the Restoration and Maintenance project of Street 16 linking the sixty -sixth and 45th streets in the Amana of the Capital.
Minister Qahim, along with the Undersecretary of the Capital Secretariat for the Works and Projects Sector, Eng. Abdul Karim Al -Houthi, reviewed the works executed in the project, which includes the development of a concrete layer of 800 meters and a thickness of 15 centimeters.
They listened to the honorable engineers to an explanation about the progress of work in the project implemented by the General Organization for Roads and Bridges with funding from the Capital Secretariat, explaining that the project also includes the restoration of drilling along the 16th Street in the asphalt material after cutting and implementing the basis layer.
The Minister of Transport and Public Works praised the efforts made in implementing the project in accordance with the specifications and quality required for what would facilitate traffic, noting the interest of the capital’s secretariat in implementing the main street rehabilitation projects because of its importance in serving citizens and highlighting the civilizational appearance of the capital, Sanaa.
Minister Qahim urged the organizers and workers of the project to redouble efforts to complete the work as soon as possible.
For his part, the representative of the Capital Secretariat touched on the importance that the project acquires in facilitating traffic and reducing bottlenecks, stressing the keenness of the Capital Municipality to expand the implementation of such projects despite the difficult circumstances and the scarcity of capabilities as a result of aggression and the siege.
