The Ministers of Economy and Transport and Public Works inaugurate the Motor Show

The Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment, Moeen Al-Mahaqri, and the Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, inaugurated the “Auto Show” Engines and Spare Parts Exhibition in Sana’a.

The two ministers toured the exhibition’s sections and pavilions and listened, along with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy for the Industry Sector, Ayman Al-Khalqi, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni General Corporation for Cement Manufacturing and Marketing, Yahya Atifa, the Secretary-General of the Local Council of the Capital Secretariat, Amin Jumaan, and the Vice President of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Mohammed Salah, to an explanation of the contents of the pavilions of the companies and entrepreneurs participating in the exhibition and after-sales services.

The Minister of Economy and Industry pointed out the importance of such exhibitions that contribute to the development of commercial and investment activity in the country.

He stressed the ministry’s support and encouragement for such events and work to develop and advance the car and engine market and support the trend towards local production by taking advantage of the great incentives that will be included in the new investment law.

He stressed that the local market is full of promising investment opportunities in this field. He called on companies and investors to benefit from the investment advantages and incentives that enjoy the care and attention of the political leadership.

For his part, the Minister of Transport and Public Works pointed out that the exhibition represents an opportunity for companies to showcase their services in the field of engines and provide solutions in the field of transportation.

He stressed the keenness to develop means of transportation and enhance investment in this field in a way that contributes to supporting development plans in the country.
