The Ministries of Economy and Transport condemn the Zionist aggression on the port of Hodeidah and Sana’a airport

The Ministry of Economy, Industry and Investment and the Ministry of Transport and Public Works condemned the blatant Zionist aggression on civilian facilities and objects in the capital Sana’a and Hodeidah Governorate.

A joint statement by the Ministries of Economy, Industry and Investment and Transport and Public Works stated that the Israeli enemy’s deliberate targeting of civilian facilities confirms the Zionist hatred and attempt to harm all the Yemeni people in revenge for their firm, moral and humanitarian positions supporting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, who are being subjected to unprecedented genocide crimes in human history.

The statement added that the Israeli enemy’s targeting of civilian facilities confirms that the Zionist entity does not care about international laws, charters and norms that criminalize the targeting of civilian facilities.

He stressed that the port of Hodeidah is used for purely civilian purposes as a lifeline for the entry of food, basic goods and medicine into Yemen, and that the attempt to harm this facility is a harm to all the people of Yemen and exacerbates the humanitarian tragedy that the country has been witnessing as a result of the aggression and siege for nearly nine years.

The aggression on Sana’a airport is also a criminal attempt to stop the only flight line between Sana’a and the Jordanian capital, Amman, to transport patients and critical cases for treatment abroad.

He stressed that such criminal raids will only increase the Yemeni people’s adherence and steadfastness to their positions in support of the Palestinian people in the face of Israeli terrorism.

The statement called on all free people of the world, the United Nations and international organizations to condemn the criminal raids on civilian facilities and objects in Sana’a and Hodeidah and to play their role in stopping the Zionist crimes and neutralizing civilian facilities from bombing and targeting.
