The Preparatory Committee for the Celebration of the Prophet’s Birthday, headed by Al-Rahawi, discusses preparations for the occasion.

The Preparatory Committee for the Celebration of the Prophet’s Birthday, may the best prayers and peace be upon him, discussed preparations for this blessed occasion in its meeting today, chaired by Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahawi.
The committee, which included First Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Miftah, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, Ministers of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim, Education and Scientific Research Hassan Al-Saadi, Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Jamal Amer, Electricity, Energy and Water Minister Dr. Ali Saif, Health and Environment Minister Dr. Ali Shaiban, Culture and Tourism Minister Dr. Ali Al-Yafei, Information Minister Hashim Sharaf Al-Din, Youth and Sports Minister Dr. Mohammed Al-Mawlid, and the Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hamoud Abbad, discussed all aspects related to the appropriate celebration of this religious occasion at both the official and popular levels.
The meeting, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Finance Nasser Al-Hamdani, Assistant Director of the Prime Minister’s Office Taha Al-Sufyani, Undersecretaries of Finance Fuad Al-Kumaim and Education Minister Hadi Ammar, and First Undersecretary of the Capital Secretariat Khalid Al-Madani, addressed the responsibilities and tasks assigned to all central and local public service units in this regard.
The attendees emphasized the importance of the plan focusing on defining the nature of the celebratory tasks assigned to various central and local public service units, including mobilization and mobilization aspects from ministries and their administrative units, the capital’s secretariat, and the governorates, as well as strengthening the jihadist and moral spirit of the Yemeni people in confronting their enemies.
The importance of the plan also being inclusive of charitable works, social solidarity, and care for the families of martyrs, the wounded, and those stationed there, as well as care for the poor, the needy, and the displaced, was emphasized. This is to achieve the humanitarian and moral dimensions of this great occasion in the lives of the Yemeni people and the Islamic nation, and to spread an atmosphere of joy over this fragrant memory through various means.
The committee tasked the Prime Minister’s Office, in coordination with all parties, with preparing a general plan to celebrate this occasion at all levels and submit it to the next meeting for discussion and approval.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday, peace and blessings be upon him, in the lives of our noble Muslim Yemeni people. He pointed to the importance of proper preparations to ensure a dignified celebration of this occasion, building on the celebrations Yemen has witnessed in previous years.
He noted that the Yemeni people will celebrate this fragrant anniversary in light of their great success in confronting their enemies, achieving strategic accomplishments in this confrontation, and supporting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Al-Rahwi also highlighted the important role of the private sector in celebrating the occasion and contributing to its humanitarian and moral dimensions.
