The Presidency of the Republic mourns the Prime Minister of the Government of Change and Construction and a number of his companions
The Presidency of the Republic of Yemen issued a statement mourning the martyrdom of the Prime Minister of the Government of Change and Construction, Mujahid Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, and a number of his fellow ministers, as a result of the treacherous Zionist aggression.
The following is the text:
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
(Among the believers are men true to what they pledged to Allah.
Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] in the least.) God’s words are true.
In support of the oppressed Palestinian people, Yemen fought the promised battle of conquest and holy jihad, attaining great honor and offering a caravan of martyrs from the heroes of the armed forces and other sons of the great Yemeni people who carried the banner and pledged to God to stand firm on the truth no matter the cost.
Today, in the midst of the open battle with the Israeli enemy entity, we mourn to our people and our nation a new group of great martyrs, including national leaders representing the Yemeni people in all their diversity.
We announce the martyrdom of Mujahid Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, Prime Minister of the Government of Change and Construction, along with a number of his fellow ministers. The criminal, treacherous Israeli enemy targeted them during a routine workshop held by the government to evaluate its activities and performance over the course of its year of operation.
Others among their comrades were wounded with moderate and serious injuries and are currently receiving medical care.
This occurred on the afternoon of Thursday, the fifth of Rabi’ al-Awwal 1447 AH. We reassure our great Yemeni people and pledge that the government, with God’s help, will carry out its role in the caretaker capacity.
Institutions will continue to provide their services to the struggling, patient, and steadfast Yemeni people, and will remain unaffected, no matter the magnitude of the disaster.
The blood of our great martyrs will be the fuel and motivation to continue on this path.
We affirm to our great Yemeni people, to the oppressed Palestinian people, to all members of our nation, and to all free people around the world that we will continue our genuine stance of supporting and defending the people of Gaza, building our armed forces and developing their capabilities to confront all challenges and dangers.
This stance is consistent with the stance of our great Yemeni people, present in all arenas and arenas with determination, will, and faith.
To God we belong and to Him we shall return. God is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
Eternity and mercy for the martyrs, recovery for the wounded, freedom for the prisoners, and dignity and victory for our dear people and all the free people of the nation.
