The Prime Minister Inaugurates the Eid Clothing Project for 60,600 Children of Martyrs and Missing Persons

Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi today inaugurated the Eid Clothing Project for 1446 AH, affiliated with the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs’ Families, for 60,600 children of martyrs and missing persons across all governorates. The project, valued at 1.4 billion riyals, will be distributed.
Following the inauguration, the Prime Minister toured the Eid Clothing Exhibition, accompanied by the Ministers of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim and Oil and Minerals, Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir; the Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hamoud Abbad; the Chairman of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs’ Families, Taha Jarran; and the First Deputy Mayor of the Capital, Khalid Al-Madani.
They viewed the exhibition’s contents, which include clothing and leather goods for men and women in a variety of styles. This exhibition is one of 72 exhibitions to be held across the governorates, 38 percent of which will be locally produced by productive families.
In a press statement, the Prime Minister commended the Eid Clothing Project and the Authority’s efforts in this regard, which reflects the continued interest in the families of martyrs, in implementation of the Leader’s directives to care for the families of martyrs in this and other areas, including education, health, and other areas.
He praised the role of productive families and their contribution to supplying these exhibitions with clothing and leather goods, expressing hope that Eid Clothing Exhibitions will be held in the coming years with entirely local production.
Al-Rahwi emphasized that the families of martyrs deserve full support and care from everyone, both state and society, in recognition of the sacrifices of their loved ones to defend the homeland, its security, and stability.
He pointed out that the blood of martyrs has yielded victory, security, and stability in the capital, Sana’a, and the governorates. He expressed his thanks to the Authority’s leadership and staff for their concern for the families and children of martyrs and for providing their clothing needs.
The Ministers of Transport and Public Works and Oil and Minerals also expressed their thanks to the Authority for the Care of Martyrs’ Families for implementing the Eid Clothing Project, both in kind and in cash, for the children of martyrs.
They emphasized that the families of martyrs deserve attention and care in various fields, in implementation of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council.
The Mayor of the Capital and the First Deputy Mayor of the Capital Municipality affirmed their commitment to actively contributing with the Authority to meeting the needs of the children of martyrs, in recognition of their fathers’ sacrifices in defense of the homeland, its security, and its stability.
For his part, the Chairman of the General Authority for Martyrs indicated that the Eid clothing project targets more than 60,000 children of martyrs across all governorates, including 44,000 in-kind clothing items, and 16,000 in cash amounts of 25,000 riyals per person.
Jran noted that the project includes the opening of 72 exhibitions in the governorates, which will continue until the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Mohammed Al-Afif, Head of the General Authority for the Care of the Families of Martyrs branch in the Capital Municipality, indicated that the clothing exhibition in the capital targets 8,000 children of martyrs, indicating that a timetable has been established for all the governorate’s districts.
The inauguration was attended by Dr. Essam Al-Sunini, First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Saleh Hamza, Vice Chairman of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs’ Families, and representatives of the Authority’s sectors.
