The Red Sea Ports Foundation and the sectors operating in the port of Hodeidah revive the memory of Ashura

The Red Sea Ports Corporation, the Maritime Affairs Authority, the Yemeni Authority for Standards, Metrology and Quality Control, and the Port of Al -Hodeidah Port, organized today, Monday, 12 Muharram 1447 AH, corresponding to July 07, 2025 AD, a rhetorical event on the memory of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, under the slogan “Hehe who is humiliated”.

In the event, the governor of the Governorate for Services Affairs, Muhammad Halisi, explained that the martyrdom of Imam Al -Hussein, peace be upon him, was a moment in the history of the nation, in which the Imam embodied the highest images of persistence and dignity in the face of tyranny, which are the values ​​that are still alive in the conscience of the Liberals.

He pointed out that the Yemeni people, which revives this anniversary, confirms its deep association with the Husseini position that refuses to submit, and it is the same position that is embodied today in the position of the Yemenis alongside the resistance in Gaza, which faces the tyrants of the times from the Zionists and their aides.

Halisi stated that Karbala and Gaza are only one extension of the battle of truth against falsehood, and whoever fails Palestine today repeats the nation’s failure to Imam Al -Hussein, and whoever supports it but revives his revolution in the contemporary reality of the nation.

He explained that the Yemenis, as they revive Ashura in their institutions and facilities, declare their deep affiliation with the resisting Husseini approach, and renew the covenant by proceeding to the path of pride and dignity, in support of the weak and in fulfillment of the sacrifices of the martyrs.

In turn, the Director of Legal Affairs at the Red Sea Ports Corporation addressed Mutahari Al -Amdi, the Ashura meanings, stressing that the memory of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, remains a permanent call to the nation towards liberation, awareness and victory for the truth, whatever the sacrifices.

And that the Husseini approach is not limited to rituals and occasions, but rather a practical responsibility in the fields of work and positions, which is embodied by the employees of the Ports Corporation in their national performance despite the difficult circumstances.

Al -Amdi pointed out that Karbala is still alive in the conscience of the nation, and today extends to Gaza, which is slaughtered with the silence of the world, noting that the revival of Ashura in Yemen is a clear message that the blood of Hussein is still beating in the arteries of resistance fighters and all the squares of confrontation.

The event was considered a practical embodiment of the awareness of the institution’s employees of the nation’s issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian issue, and their constant evocation of the revolution of Imam Al -Hussein as a source of inspiration and steadfastness in the face of aggression and the siege.

 

For his part, the official of the unit of scholars in the governorate, Sheikh Ali Somal, reviewed the virtues of Imam Al -Hussein and the principles of his revolution against falsehood, stressing that Imam Al -Hussein did not come out as a request for power, but rather in defense of the religion of his grandfather Mustafa, and to commemorate the spirit of divine justice that the tyrants tried to obliterate.

 

He explained that the Palestinian issue today represents an extension of the battle of Karbala. The position on Gaza is a position on Al -Hussein, and the silence towards it is the fall of the same exam in which those who failed Al -Hussein, peace be upon him, fell.

Sheikh Somal pointed out that the duty of scholars, institutions and everyone to be at the forefront of those who revive these meanings, and embody them in reality, in word and deed, calling for more awareness, steadfastness and true support for the issues of the central nation.

The event, which was attended by the Director of the Customs of Al -Hodeidah Port, Abdullah Habib, the director of the Standards and Metrology Authority branch, Khalil Al -Joufi, and the directors of departments in the organized authorities, poetry and chanting paragraphs, by the Martyr Al -Samad group, expressed the Husseiniya oppression.
