The Roads and Bridges Authority Organizes a Workshop on Modern Engineering Software Technology in Bridge Design

The General Administration of Administrative Affairs and the Roads Vocational Training Center at the General Authority for Roads and Bridges organized a workshop today on modern engineering software technology in bridge design.
The workshop aimed to introduce 30 of the Authority’s engineers to the latest engineering software used in bridge design, including BIM technology, which is considered the best in the world in this field.
During the workshop, which was attended by the Authority’s Project Managers, Engineer Sadiq Al-Jarbani; Maintenance Manager, Engineer Abdul Qader Badi; and Bridges and Construction Manager, Engineer Adnan Ibrahim, the Director of the Roads Vocational Training Center, Engineer Mahmoud Ezz El-Din, provided an overview of the workshop’s themes and its importance in improving performance at the Authority. He pointed out that the workshop also includes a discussion of the engineering problems faced by government agency engineers. It also introduces participants to engineering software systems for all disciplines, how to coordinate teamwork between the institution’s departments, and the level of expertise engineers achieve when working with BIM technology. Engineer Ezz El-Din emphasized that organizing the workshop falls within the framework of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges’ leadership’s commitment to achieving the best results in engineering designs, bridge construction, and other projects undertaken by the Authority.
