Traffic Police Announce Temporary Suspension of Enforcement Campaigns on the Occasion of the Prophet’s Birthday

The Traffic Police announced today the temporary suspension of enforcement campaigns on the occasion of the Prophet’s Birthday, in implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Interior leadership.
The Traffic Police explained in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the suspension of enforcement campaigns comes within the framework of facilitating citizens’ needs and taking into account the special nature of this great religious occasion. It aims to provide an opportunity for voluntary registration and numbering within 30 days from the date of the announcement.
The Police confirmed that field work will continue through the widespread deployment of traffic patrols and teams on major streets and intersections to regulate traffic and ensure smooth flow, ensuring traffic safety and reducing congestion.
The traffic police indicated that enforcement will be limited to violations of traffic rules and etiquette, explaining that the goal of these measures is to foster a sense of responsibility and instill the values of cooperation and discipline on this occasion.
They called on drivers and vehicle owners to adhere to traffic rules, demonstrate awareness and discipline, and take advantage of the campaign suspension to rectify their status and register and license their vehicles and motorcycles.
