Training Course on Maintenance of Electro-Hydraulic Systems in Heavy Equipment Concludes at the Roads Authority

 

A training course on the maintenance of electro-hydraulic systems in heavy equipment concluded today at the General Authority for Roads and Bridges.

The five-day course, organized by the Authority, aimed to equip 39 trainees with the necessary technical knowledge and skills for maintaining heavy equipment, particularly electro-hydraulic systems.

At the closing ceremony, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges, Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Hadrami, emphasized the importance of these courses, which are part of the Authority’s training plan aimed at enhancing the technical and engineering capabilities of its employees at all levels.

He urged the participants to make the best use of the knowledge and skills they acquired during the course and to apply them in their practical work. Al-Hadrami pointed out that the primary goal of such training courses is to maintain the institution’s machinery and equipment and ensure their constant readiness for various tasks and projects within the road and infrastructure development projects the institution undertakes across different governorates.

The course covered several topics, including the operation of hydraulic systems, the basic components of hydraulic systems, types of hydraulic pumps, oils and filters, types of pistons, and valves, in addition to understanding hydraulic symbols and diagrams.

The closing ceremony, attended by the institution’s project managers, Eng. Sadiq Al-Jarbaani (Projects), Eng. Adnan Ibrahim (Bridges and Construction), Eng. Zaid Al-Mawari (Central Workshop), Eng. Hassan Ghasham (Mechanical), and Samir Al-Sharabi (Administrative Affairs), included honoring the course participants.
