Workshop at the Ministry of Economy on the Economic Stimulus Program of the Government of Construction and Change

The Ministry of Economy, Industry and Investment organized a workshop today in Sana’a on the Economic Stimulus Program of the Government of Change and Construction.
The workshop aimed to enrich the economic stimulus program based on the decision of the Council of Ministers and approve the final draft of the program.
At the opening of the workshop, which was attended by the Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, and the Minister of Oil and Minerals, Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir, the Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment, Eng. Moeen Al-Mahaqri, indicated that the program was developed according to a realistic vision that is feasible and accommodates the challenges facing the country and aims to activate the idle capabilities in the national economy.
He stated that the program seeks to dispel the concerns of capitalists, whether in the public or private sectors, and enable them to invest in promising opportunities in the country, enable citizens to contribute to safe investment projects, and stimulate capabilities that contribute to achieving added value within the channels of the national economy, as well as reduce the import bill through incentives for industrial, agricultural and other production projects, and encourage and protect local production.
