Yemenia Condemns Zionist Enemy Targeting of Its Civilian Aircraft at Sana’a Airport

Yemena Airlines condemned the Israeli enemy’s targeting of a civilian aircraft belonging to the company this morning at Sana’a International Airport. The attack occurred moments before the pilgrims were due to board the aircraft, which had been scheduled to depart on a scheduled flight that had received all legal operating permits from the relevant authorities.

In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Yemenia considered this attack a new crime to be added to the criminal record of the Zionist entity. It emphasized that the aircraft was preparing to transport pilgrims as part of the official delegation program and was not carrying any military or political responsibilities, but rather was performing a purely humanitarian mission.

The statement indicated that this targeting reflects a deep-seated hatred toward everything that connects the Yemeni people to life and hope, emphasizing that the enemy’s continued targeting of civilian facilities is a dangerous indicator that silence is no longer acceptable.

The company announced a temporary and comprehensive suspension of all flights from Sana’a Airport until further notice, holding the Zionist enemy and those collaborating with it fully responsible for this blatant attack, stressing that this criminal act constitutes an assault on the sovereignty of the Republic of Yemen.

The statement emphasized that Yemenia is a national company operating with impartiality and high professionalism, and has dedicated its efforts to serving the Yemeni people without discrimination, which makes its targeting unjustifiable in any way.

In its statement, the company called on all free people of the world, international organizations, and civil aviation institutions to break their silence regarding this aggression, which is not limited to targeting an aircraft alone but strikes at the core of the principles of freedom of movement and the right to life.

The statement also affirmed that the company reserves its legal right to prosecute all those involved in this crime before the competent courts, in accordance with international and civil aviation laws.
