A delegation from the Public Works Office visits the shrine of the martyr Al-Samad

A delegation of leaders and employees of the Public Works Office in the capital, Sana’a, today visited the tomb of the martyred President Saleh Ali al-Samad and his companions in Al-Sabeen Square in Sana’a as part of the activities commemorating the seventh anniversary.
The delegation was headed by Deputy Director General for Human Resources Fouad Al-Shamiri, Assistant Director General Khaled Abdul-Mughni, Director of the Director General’s Office Ayman Al-Mikhlafi, a number of department and region directors, and a group of Public Works Office employees.
The delegation laid a wreath of flowers on the tomb of the martyr al-Samad and his companions, and recited Al-Fatihah for their pure souls and the souls of all the martyrs of the homeland who wrote with their blood the most wonderful epics of heroism and sacrifice in confronting the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition.
Al-Shammari and Abdul-Ghani praised, in a press statement, the sacrifices of the martyr Al-Samad in defending Yemen, its sovereignty and independence, stressing that this visit represents a station to stand before a great personality who revives in the souls the meanings of pride, dignity, sacrifice and giving for the sake of the homeland, and an opportunity to remember his heroic positions in confronting the aggression.
They noted that the martyr Al-Samad was a national symbol and an inspiring leader who led Yemen in the darkest circumstances, and defended its sovereignty with all valor until he attained martyrdom.. Pointing out that the Public Works Office in the capital, and all its leaders and employees, renew the pledge to the martyr Al-Samad and his companions to move forward in the path of construction and development, and to work with all sincerity and dedication to serve the homeland and the citizen, and to achieve the aspirations of the Yemeni people to live in freedom and dignity.
The visitors stressed that the memory of the martyrdom of President Al-Samad will remain immortal in the conscience, from which generations learn the meanings of sacrifice, valor, and steadfastness for the sake of the homeland.
They stressed the need to follow the path of the martyr Al-Samad and his renaissance project that he launched under the title “A Hand that Protects… and a Hand that Builds.” This visit comes within the framework of extensive activities organized by various governmental and popular bodies in Yemen to commemorate the seventh anniversary of the martyrdom of President Al-Samad, who was assassinated by the hand of treachery on this day in 2018.
