A government meeting chaired by the Prime Minister discusses preparations to mark the National Resilience Day

 

Prime Minister Dr. Abdul-Aziz  Saleh bin Habtoor praised the efforts and actions undertaken by ministries and service institutions towards citizens in the Capital Municipality and the Free Governorates.

The Prime Minister considered the steadfastness of ministries and institutions and their cohesion during the current exceptional circumstance as a great success and thwarting the aggression plan, which since its inception has sought and continues to destroy ministries and institutions, especially service ones, and disrupt their various activities.

This came during the government meeting held in Sana’a, which included the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, Services and Development Dr. Hussein Makbouly, the National Vision Mahmoud Al-Junaid and Economic Affairs, Minister of Finance Dr. Rashid Abu Lahoum, ministers of service ministries and heads of institutions affiliated to them.

Where the meeting discussed the vital roles of the service ministries within the framework of implementing the second phase plan 2021-2025 AD from the national vision, based on their responsibilities and their direct vital role with the citizen and their close relationship with his daily life, as well as discussing ways to enhance and develop the general service performance of these bodies and the mechanism to help them overcome difficulties, including He neglects to stabilize its activities and vital services to citizens.

The meeting also discussed preparations for the commemoration of the National Resilience Day on March 26, in which the proud Yemeni people will complete the sixth year in the face of the US-Saudi-Zionist aggression alliance, and the preparatory activities accompanying this day, which has become a day of the legendary steadfastness of the Yemeni people and their free sons, and a title of pride and dignity in its best form. And the roles assigned to all government agencies in marking this occasion.

The meeting focused on the current stifling crisis of oil derivatives resulting from the piracy of the US-Saudi-Zionist aggression coalition against ships of oil derivatives and preventing their access to the port of Hodeidah, and the repercussions resulting from this piracy on various aspects of the citizen’s daily life, especially basic services related to his life such as health, water, environment and transportation.

The meeting condemned the collective punishment policy pursued by the American-Saudi aggression coalition towards the Yemeni people, and its violation of the principles and provisions of international humanitarian law, which considered this type of punishment a war crime.

And he called on the United Nations and the international community to condemn this criminal behavior against more than twenty-five million Yemenis, instead of being preoccupied with statements of condemnation against those defending their homeland and defending its life … and blaming the American-Saudi aggression coalition with all the moral and criminal consequences of the continued denial of access.
