A meeting approves the procedural steps for the establishment of service committees for the liberated directorates in Al-Bayda, Shabwa, Marib and Abyan

 

A government meeting in Sana’a , headed by Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, discussed the complementary aspects related to the government committees scheduled to go to the liberated directorates in Al-Bayda, Shabwa, Marib and Abyan, in implementation of the directives of the leader of the revolution, Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi in his speech yesterday, Monday.

The meeting, in the presence of the two Deputy Prime Ministers for Security and Defense Affairs, Lieutenant-General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, Services and Development, Dr. Hussein Maqboli, and representatives of various service and relevant authorities, approved the procedural and technical steps related to the committees’ arrival in the four governorates, to study and determine the urgent development, service and humanitarian needs, and submit them to the Presidency of the Government for implementation in accordance with Urgent, medium and long-term plans to achieve positive effects in the daily lives of citizens.

The meeting, which was attended by the Ministers of Social Affairs, Labor, Obaid bin Dbaye, Guidance, Hajj and Umrah Affairs, Najeeb Al-Ajji, and Water and Environment, Eng. Abdul-Raqib Al-Shurmani, Youth and Sports, Muhammad Al-Moaidi, Transport, Amer Al-Marani, Electricity, Ahmed Al-Ali, and Deputy Ministers of Local Administration, Qassem Al-Hamran, Technical Education and Vocational Training, Dr. Muhammad Al-Saqqaf, also approved the establishment of a chamber Operations in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Affairs, to receive the information received from the field, to work accordingly to urgently provide urgent needs, especially water, health, education, technical education, roads, the living and relief aspect, according to a single work system in the four governorates.

The meeting, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, Abdul-Mohsen Tawoos, the head of the Zakat Authority, Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nishtan, the first deputy of Al-Bayda governorate, Hammoud Shatan, and the governorate’s deputy, Hussein Aidarous Al-Humayqani, focused on the directorates liberated in Al-Bayda by Al-Qaeda and ISIS elements, and the importance of taking into account the problems left by them on the social aspects. And development and service, where life has been almost halted for about ten years under the control of ISIS and al-Qaeda and its abuse of citizens in various ways and methods.

The meeting touched on the field steps initiated by the ministries and relevant authorities in Shabwa and Marib, which had a direct positive impact on citizens, and the emphasis on continuing those efforts within the framework of the committees to enhance the positive effects in the various targeted directorates.

A fourth committee was formed headed by Deputy Minister of Local Administration Qassem Al-Hamran, to go to the districts that were liberated in Abyan, with the four committees heading simultaneously to Al-Bayda, Shabwa, Marib and Abyan as soon as possible, taking into account the benefits of the steps taken in the liberated districts in Hodeidah Governorate.

The meeting was attended by the Director of the Finance Office in Al-Bayda Governorate, Nasser Al-Mansoori.
