A meeting chaired by Al Rowaishan to discuss the work of the Civil Aviation Authority

A meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Major General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, today discussed the functioning of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology.

 

The meeting, which included Minister of Transport Zakaria Al-Shami, from the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Rahman Abdul-Qadir, heard an explanation of the services it provides to air navigation that crosses the airspace of the Republic of Yemen and its commitment to international conditions, laws and agreements, especially the International Civil Aviation Organization, ICAO.

The meeting, in the presence of the commission’s deputy, Raed Talib Jabal, and Director of Sanaa International Airport Khaled Al-Shayef and Air Transport, Dr. Mazen Ghanem, touched on the deliberate and direct targeting of the aggression’s coalition aircraft, the new Sanaa International Airport project.

In the meeting, Major General Al-Ruwaishan stressed the importance of the services of the General Authority of Civil Aviation that it provides to international air navigation, denouncing the coalition’s deliberate destruction of vital civilian and humanitarian installations that provide services to the people.

In his turn, the Minister of Transport referred to the strategic plans, programs and activities carried out by the Ministry and its sectors, bodies and institutions affiliated to it, within the framework of the decisions of the National Vision to build the modern Yemeni state in its first and second stages
