A meeting for a committee to inventory and document violations of civil aviation and meteorology

The committee charged with inventorying and documenting civil aviation and meteorology violations as a result of brutal aggression held a meeting  headed by the Deputy  of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology – Chairman of the Committee Raed Talib Jabal.

In the presence of the Director General of Sana’a International Airport, Khaled Al-Shayef, the committee discussed the committee’s work plan for the coming period, the nature of the procedural and technical tasks related to its work, the mechanisms for counting and documenting violations and damages in airports, buildings and equipment of civil aviation and meteorology that were damaged by brutal aggression … as well as reviewing a report submitted by the preparatory team for the committee with its tasks during The period of its formation in the administrative and field aspects, from which resulted in the development of an executive mechanism for counting and documenting the damages and violations suffered by the civil aviation sector, the meteorology and the initial determinants of the committee’s work and its future tasks.

At the meeting, the agency’s agent indicated that the damages and violations of the aggression against the civil aviation and meteorological sector are much greater than what some imagine, as it is considered one of the sectors most affected by the repercussions of the aggression and the blockade.

Noting that the countries of the Aggression Alliance, since the beginning of their brutal aggression against our country, have targeted and destroyed most of the airports, civil aircraft, civil aviation infrastructure, meteorology and navigation equipment, in addition to the unjust blockade, stressing the necessity of counting and documenting these crimes in a systematic way in line with international standards that guarantee documentation and preservation. Tools of crimes and violations that are comprehensive, accurate, and accommodating of direct and indirect damages.

The agency’s Deputy stressed the importance of continuously updating information and data on the ongoing violations and crimes against the civil aviation and meteorology sector by the Aggression Coalition and working to expose and uncover these crimes through media campaigns, press conferences and protests that show the world the extent of brutality and brutality of the crimes and violations of aggression against the civil aviation sector and meteorology. .
